Q: How do I delete passengers off legs of a trip?
A: Go to the Passenger Tab of Trip Create and click on
the passenger's leg that you want to delete.
The name and leg information will display at the bottom of the
screen. Select Tab Options/Delete Tab
and click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Q: How do I delete passengers off of a trip?
A: Go to the Passenger Tab of Trip Create and click on
the passenger's name of the passenger you want to delete. The name will display at the bottom of the
screen (without leg information).
Select Tab Options/Delete Tab and click on Yes to confirm the deletion.
Q: How do I delete legs off a trip?
A: Go to the Leg Tab of Trip Create and click on the leg
you want to delete.
Q: How do I un-post a trip I've posted to history?
A: Go to Posting/Post Flight Logs and do the following:
· Enter the Trip ID of the
trip to un-post in the Trip ID field.
· Select
File/Rename.
· Enter TEMPTRIP in the
Rename Trip To field and click Rename.
· Select File/Copy and
enter original Trip ID in the Copy Trip To field and click Copy.
· Enter TEMPTRIP in the
Trip ID field.
· Click the Delete Record
icon (the trash can) and delete TEMPTRIP.
NOTE: The information entered in the post trip screens will
be cleared (i.e. instrument time for the
crewmembers, fuel charges, etc.) when
the trip is re-activated so print a Flight Log Expanded report to save the
information that was entered when the trip was posted if you don't want to lose
the information.
Now the original Trip ID will
be un-posted and available in Trip Create.
Q: When posting a trip, after entering the times in
one leg, the next leg's date is not correct - it is showing the day before!
A: If dates on Posting are not coming up correctly,
check to see if you are Posting with the proper times remember to compensate
for time zones if you are posting time in local time or home base time.
Q: How can I
change the Trip Create or Posting screen to enter times in Local, Home Base, or
Zulu times?
A: Go to Home
Page/System/Configuration/Units tab. In
the Post Times In field select which time format you want to use in Trip Create
(CR) or Posting (POST) screens.
Q: The Customs form (Form 178) has blanks for the
Crew and/or Pax name fields.
A: Since custom forms require first and last name, in
Passenger Records and the Crew Records, fill out the fields for first and last
names and then the names will appear on the custom forms.
Q: How do a change a passenger name?
A: Go to File Administration/Passenger Records and bring
up the passenger record then select File/Rename and enter the new name in the
Rename Passenger To field.
NOTE: These instructions can also be used to rename
crewmembers or aircraft.
Q: How can I join two passenger names (for example
GOODNAME and BADNAME) into one passenger record and have all the trips the
passenger is manifested on point to the final record (GOODNAME)?
A: Go to File Administration/Passenger Records and do
the following:
·Enter GOODNAME in the
Passenger ID field to bring up the record that will be the final record after
the join. Select File/Rename and type TEMPNAME in the
Rename Passenger To field and 01/01/00 in the Update Trips After field.
·Enter BADNAME in the
Passenger ID field to bring up the record that will be joined. Select File/Rename and type GOODNAME in the Rename Passenger To
field and 01/01/00 in the Update Trips After field.
·Enter TEMPNAME in the
Passenger ID field. Select File/Rename
and again type GOODNAME in the Rename Passenger To field and 01/01/00 in the Update
Trips After field like you did in the previous step. Click on Yes to the question that pops up "Do you want to replace the existing
pax record with the current pax record on rename?"
NOTE: These same steps can be used to combine aircraft or
crewmember records also.
Q: The maintenance I had
scheduled got canceled. How do I delete
it off the calendar?
A: Deleting maintenance scheduled items is very similar
to deleting pax off of a trip. Go to
Dispatch/Maintenance Schedule. Put in
the Aircraft and Starting Date of the scheduled maintenance. Double click on the line that lists the
maintenance that you want to delete.
That will fill out the information in the bottom half of the
screen. Then select Tab Options/Delete
Tab.
